These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Liwan Studio (“Liwan”, “the App”, or “the Service”), a creative design and desktop publishing application provided by Flowzant Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“Flowzant”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Liwan, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use Liwan.
1. About Liwan
Liwan Studio is a creative design and desktop publishing application that enables users to create, edit, arrange, and export visual documents and designs.
Liwan is designed primarily to perform its core editing and document functionality on the user’s device. Certain features, such as accessing stock images, fonts, or subscription services, may require communication with third-party services.
2. Eligibility
You may use Liwan only if you are legally permitted to enter into these Terms under the laws applicable to you.
If you are using Liwan on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to accept these Terms on that organization’s behalf.
3. License to Use Liwan
Liwan is licensed to you, not sold to you.
Your right to use Liwan is subject to the applicable license terms provided through the Apple App Store, including Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Standard EULA”), unless a separate custom license agreement is expressly provided.
You may use Liwan only as permitted by the applicable license, Apple’s usage rules, and these Terms.
You may not:
- copy, distribute, resell, rent, lease, sublicense, or commercially redistribute Liwan except as expressly permitted by applicable law or license terms;
- attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or derive the source code of Liwan, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
- circumvent technical restrictions or security mechanisms;
- use Liwan to violate applicable laws or the rights of others; or
- interfere with the operation or security of Liwan or associated services.
Open-source components included with Liwan remain subject to their respective licenses. Information about applicable open-source software is available in Liwan > Settings > About > Open Source Licenses.
4. Your Content
You retain ownership of the original creative content that you create or import into Liwan, subject to any rights belonging to third parties.
Liwan does not acquire ownership of your designs, documents, artwork, text, or other original content merely because you use the App to create or edit that content.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights, permissions, and licenses for content that you import, use, reproduce, publish, or distribute through Liwan.
5. Third-Party Content
Liwan may provide access to third-party content and services, including stock images and fonts.
Third-party content remains subject to the terms, licenses, and usage restrictions of the respective provider.
For example, content obtained through Pexels or Unsplash may be subject to the applicable terms and licenses of those services. You are responsible for complying with those terms when using third-party content.
Flowzant does not transfer ownership of third-party content to you.
6. Third-Party Services
Certain Liwan functionality uses third-party services, including:
- Pexels;
- Unsplash;
- Google Fonts;
- GitHub;
- Apple App Store and StoreKit; and
- other third-party services that may be introduced to support Liwan functionality.
Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms, policies, licenses, and privacy practices.
Flowzant is not responsible for changes made by third-party providers to their services, availability, content, policies, or terms.
7. Subscriptions
Certain Liwan features may require an active subscription purchased through the Apple App Store.
Subscriptions are purchased and billed through Apple’s App Store. Apple manages payment processing, subscription billing, renewal, and cancellation.
Subscription availability, pricing, billing periods, and renewal terms are presented through Apple’s purchasing interface.

8. Automatic Renewal
Where a Liwan subscription is offered as an automatically renewing subscription, the subscription will renew according to the terms presented by Apple unless you cancel it before the applicable renewal time.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple Account’s subscription management settings.
9. Updates and Changes to Liwan
We may update, modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of Liwan from time to time.
Updates may include bug fixes, security improvements, performance improvements, new features, or changes to existing functionality.
We do not guarantee that every feature will remain available indefinitely.
10. Availability
We aim to keep Liwan reliable and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Certain functionality depends on your device, operating system, internet connection, Apple’s services, or third-party services. Those dependencies may affect the availability or performance of particular features.
11. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Liwan:
- for unlawful purposes;
- to infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of another person;
- to distribute content that you do not have the right to use;
- to circumvent applicable content or service restrictions; or
- in a manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair Liwan or related services.
12. Intellectual Property
Liwan, including its software, interface, design, branding, documentation, and original materials provided by Flowzant, is owned by or licensed to Flowzant and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except for the rights expressly granted to you, Flowzant and its licensors retain all rights in Liwan.
“Liwan Studio”, Liwan branding, logos, and related marks may not be used without appropriate authorization.
13. Open-Source Software
Liwan incorporates certain open-source software components.
Those components remain governed by their respective open-source licenses. Nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict rights granted to you under those licenses.

14. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Liwan is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis.
We do not guarantee that Liwan will always be uninterrupted, completely error-free, or compatible with every device, operating system version, file, font, or third-party service.
Third-party content and services are provided by their respective providers and may be subject to separate terms and availability.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Flowzant will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of Liwan.
This includes, where permitted by law, loss of data, loss of profits, loss of business opportunities, or interruption of business.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
16. Termination
You may stop using Liwan at any time by uninstalling the App.
Your license to use Liwan may terminate in accordance with the applicable license terms if you materially violate those terms.
Termination does not affect rights or obligations that by their nature should continue after termination.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice through Liwan or our website.
Your continued use of Liwan after the updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Flowzant Technologies Pvt. Ltd., except to the extent that applicable law requires otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under the laws of your place of residence.
