Liwan Studio Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Liwan Studio does not require users to create a Flowzant account or provide personal information such as their name, email address, telephone number, or postal address in order to use the App.

Flowzant does not maintain a traditional user account database for Liwan Studio.

Depending on the features you use, information may be transmitted from the App to third-party services.

This may include:

• Search terms and search parameters submitted to Pexels when you use Pexels-powered search functionality;
• Search terms and search parameters submitted to Unsplash when you use Unsplash-powered search functionality;
• Requests to retrieve thumbnails and images from Pexels and Unsplash;
• Requests associated with Unsplash image download and view-tracking functionality;
• Requests to Google Fonts to retrieve font catalogue information or font files when the applicable font functionality is used;
• Requests to GitHub to retrieve applicable font license information;
• Transaction and subscription information processed through Apple’s App Store and StoreKit; and
• Information necessary for normal network communications, such as an IP address, which may be visible to the applicable third-party service when a network request is made.

Flowzant does not intentionally collect personal information beyond what is necessary to provide the applicable Liwan Studio functionality.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

Liwan Studio does not require or intentionally collect the following information for a Flowzant user account:

• Your name;
• Your email address;
• Your telephone number;
• Your postal address;
• Your password;
• Your Apple Account password;
• Your payment card number;
• Your bank account information;
• Your precise location;
• Your personal contacts; or
• Your advertising profile.

Flowzant does not routinely upload or store your Liwan Studio projects, designs, images, documents, or other creative content on Flowzant servers.

Liwan Studio does not use a Flowzant account or login system.

3. Your Creative Content

Liwan Studio allows you to create, edit, format, and export digital content.

Your projects, designs, documents, images, text, and other creative content are primarily processed locally on your device.

Flowzant does not routinely upload or store your Liwan Studio projects or creative content on Flowzant servers.

Flowzant does not claim ownership of the original creative content you create using Liwan Studio.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights, permissions, and licenses for content that you import into or use with Liwan Studio.

When you use third-party media services through Liwan Studio, the applicable media or network requests may be transmitted to those third-party services as described in this Privacy Policy.

4. Pexels Integration

Liwan Studio integrates the Pexels API to provide stock-media search functionality.

When you use a Pexels-powered search feature, the search request and applicable search parameters may be transmitted to Pexels.

Depending on the feature being used, Liwan Studio may also request thumbnails, previews, or full-resolution media from Pexels’ servers.

As with other Internet communications, requests made to Pexels may include technical information such as your IP address and other information normally associated with an Internet request.

Flowzant does not use Pexels searches to create advertising profiles or sell personal information.

Pexels is an independent third-party service. Flowzant does not control how Pexels processes information received through its service.

Information processed by Pexels is subject to Pexels’ own privacy practices and terms.

Users should review Pexels’ applicable privacy policy and terms for information about Pexels’ data practices.

Flowzant has obtained authorization from Pexels for the applicable Liwan Studio integration. This authorization does not mean that Pexels is a Flowzant service or that Flowzant controls Pexels’ privacy practices.

5. Unsplash Integration

Liwan Studio integrates the Unsplash API to provide stock-image search functionality.

When you use an Unsplash-powered search feature, the search request and applicable search parameters may be transmitted to Unsplash.

Depending on the feature being used, Liwan Studio may also request thumbnails, previews, or full-resolution images from Unsplash’s servers.

Liwan Studio may also make requests to Unsplash associated with downloading or displaying Unsplash content. These requests may include information such as image identifiers and application-related information.

In accordance with the functionality provided by the Unsplash integration, Liwan Studio may send download-tracking requests when an Unsplash image is downloaded or inserted into a project.

Liwan Studio may also send view-related requests to Unsplash when an Unsplash image is displayed in the editor. These requests may include the applicable Unsplash image identifier and application-related information.

As with other Internet communications, requests made to Unsplash may include technical information such as your IP address and other information normally associated with an Internet request.

Flowzant does not use Unsplash searches or image interactions to create advertising profiles or sell personal information.

Unsplash is an independent third-party service. Flowzant does not control how Unsplash processes information received through its service.

Information processed by Unsplash is subject to Unsplash’s own privacy practices and terms.

Users should review Unsplash’ applicable privacy policy and terms for information about Unsplash’ data practices.

Flowzant has obtained authorization from Unsplash for the applicable Liwan Studio integration. This authorization does not mean that Unsplash is a Flowzant service or that Flowzant controls Unsplash’ privacy practices.

6. Apple App Store and StoreKit

Liwan Studio is distributed through Apple’s App Store and uses Apple’s StoreKit framework for subscription functionality.

When you purchase a Liwan Studio subscription, payment is processed by Apple through the App Store.

Flowzant does not directly receive or store your payment card number, bank account information, or Apple Account password.

Apple may provide Liwan Studio with transaction and subscription information necessary to verify and manage your subscription and provide subscription-related functionality.

This information may include information such as the applicable product, purchase information, subscription status, renewal information, expiration information, and other transaction or entitlement information made available through Apple’s StoreKit framework.

Liwan Studio stores the applicable subscription status information locally on your device as necessary to provide subscription functionality.

Apple independently processes payment, transaction, and Apple Account information in accordance with Apple’s applicable terms and privacy practices.

7. Google Fonts and GitHub

Liwan Studio provides functionality that may retrieve font information and font files from Google Fonts.

When the applicable font catalogue functionality is used, Liwan Studio may communicate with Google’s font services to retrieve available font information.

When a font is downloaded, Liwan Studio may retrieve the applicable font file from Google’s font infrastructure.

These network requests may expose technical information such as your IP address and request information to Google as part of normal Internet communication.

Liwan Studio may also retrieve applicable font license information from GitHub’s infrastructure. These requests may expose technical information such as your IP address and request information to GitHub as part of normal Internet communication.

Google and GitHub are independent third-party services. Flowzant does not control how Google or GitHub processes information associated with requests to their services.

Users should review Google’s and GitHub’s respective privacy policies and terms for information about their data practices.

8. Third-Party Services and Software

Liwan Studio currently uses the following third-party services and software components:

Pexels API

Used to provide stock-media search and related media retrieval functionality.

Unsplash API

Used to provide stock-image search and related image retrieval functionality.

Google Fonts

Used to provide font catalogue information and font files where applicable.

GitHub

Used to retrieve applicable font license information for downloaded fonts where applicable.

Apple App Store and StoreKit

Used to distribute Liwan Studio and provide subscription and in-app purchase functionality.

HarfBuzz

Liwan Studio incorporates the HarfBuzz open-source text-shaping library to support text and typography functionality.

HarfBuzz is an embedded software library and is not used by Flowzant as a user-data collection service.

The applicable HarfBuzz license and copyright notices are included within Liwan Studio under:

Settings → About → Open Source Licenses

Third-party services are operated independently of Flowzant and may have their own privacy policies, terms, and data practices.

9. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

Liwan Studio does not use third-party analytics services to create profiles of individual users.

Liwan Studio does not use third-party advertising networks.

Flowzant does not sell users’ personal information.

Liwan Studio does not intentionally track users across third-party applications or websites for targeted advertising.

Certain third-party integrations may perform service-specific requests associated with displaying, downloading, or accessing third-party content. For example, Unsplash may receive requests associated with image downloads or image views as described in this Privacy Policy.

These service-specific requests are part of the functionality of the applicable third-party integration and are not used by Flowzant to create advertising profiles.

10. Data Sharing

Flowzant does not sell or rent personal information.

Information may be transmitted to third-party services when necessary to provide functionality that you choose to use.

For example:

• Pexels may receive search requests and media requests when you use Pexels-powered functionality;
• Unsplash may receive search requests, image requests, and service-specific download or view requests when you use Unsplash-powered functionality;
• Google may receive requests when Liwan Studio retrieves font information or font files;
• GitHub may receive requests when Liwan Studio retrieves applicable font license information; and
• Apple processes payment and subscription transactions when you purchase a Liwan Studio subscription and may provide Flowzant with information necessary to manage subscription functionality.

Flowzant may also disclose information when required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental authority, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, security, property, or safety of Flowzant, our users, or others.

11. Data Retention

Flowzant does not maintain a general personal-information profile or traditional user account database for Liwan Studio users.

Information associated with Liwan Studio subscriptions may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide subscription functionality, maintain appropriate business and accounting records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce applicable agreements.

Information processed by Apple, Pexels, Unsplash, Google, or GitHub is subject to the respective provider’s privacy practices and retention policies.

Liwan Studio projects and creative content stored locally on your device remain under your control.

Liwan Studio may store certain application information locally on your device, including recent stock-media searches, favourites, and subscription status information necessary for the App’s functionality.

12. Data Security

Flowzant takes reasonable measures to protect information within its control.

Liwan Studio is designed to minimize centralized collection and storage of user information. Core creative workflows are designed to operate locally on your device wherever technically possible.

No software, device, network, or Internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

When Liwan Studio communicates with third-party services, the security and handling of information by those services are governed by their respective practices and policies.

Users should maintain appropriate security measures on their devices and keep Liwan Studio and their operating system updated.

13. Children’s Privacy

Liwan Studio is not specifically directed toward children.

Flowzant does not knowingly collect personal information from children through Liwan Studio in violation of applicable law.

14. International Users and Data Transfers

Flowzant is based in India, and Liwan Studio may be used by users in other countries.

When you use third-party services integrated with Liwan Studio, including Apple, Pexels, Unsplash, Google, and GitHub, information associated with your use of those services may be processed in countries where those providers or their service providers operate.

Such processing is governed by the applicable third party’s privacy policy and terms.

15. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information under applicable privacy laws.

These rights may include:
